 Conscious Embodiment is a practice derived from the revolutionary non-aggressive martial art of Aikido. This practice allows us to unify the energy of the body and thus learn to trust our sensations, which are the basis of bodily intuition and wisdom. Using principles from Aikido and other spiritual practices, these classes offer ways of understanding mental and emotional habits of attention from an energetic viewpoint. There is within each of us a latent power of intuition and unconditional love. By cultivating this natural healing power, we can increase our capacity for wisdom, confidence, and happiness that will radiate out into the world. The Theme for Courses and Workshops in 2009 will be Intuition -- Intuition accesses the universal data bank. This part of us is wise and creative in addressing some of the personal and global challenges we are facing. |

The retreat is open for students that have completed a level one or equivalent course and is a requirement for those who are interested in the CE Teacher Training. This retreat is an intensive that involves sitting meditation and C.E. practices. Each exercise is practiced for a silent 30 minute period, giving us a chance to deepen our practice. The sitting meditation sessions are 30 minutes long. We will start at 6pm on Friday and end at 1 pm on Sunday. The retreat size will be no more than 16 people.
The cost for the weekend is $500.00 scholarships are available. Please send a $100.00 nonrefundable deposit to confirm a reservation. |
