The *new* edition of The Intuitive Body is now available! There is
more info below.

Dear Friends,

Spring has sprung here in the Bay Area. The hills are green and
blossoms are opening all around. Give yourself a 'time out'. Let's
stop and breathe a long breath. Take a moment to feel supported by the
earth and let her power and depth bring energy and strength into your
body. Imagine aliveness reaching up out the top of your head toward
the warmth and light of the sun. Your life energy radiates out from
you in all directions connecting you to your world through your
presence. Soften your muscles a little bit and ask yourself, "What
would it be like if there were a little more......?"

For me this California spring brought a special new life. On March
7th the long awaited granddaughter Rain Palmer Diaz was born. Holding
her is like standing in the doorway between two worlds -- the world of
Mystery and the world of Manifestation. It is fascinating to watch her
move slowly and steadily into the Manifest world.

Jaden is now two and a half. He has language and motor skills. It is
interesting to watch him adjust to his new sister and his changing
world. It is a reminder that we are adaptable and if we don't hold on
too tight we can flex and shift with the changes occurring around and
within us.

As I continue the exploration through the lens of Visibility, I notice
that to my grandchildren what is visible is the internal essential
feeling or texture of a person not the external of body size, face or
hair. Neither Jaden nor Rain cares about 'bad hair days'. They are
however, very sensitive to 'bad mood' days. I imagine that the
children in Africa think the people who volunteer to help feed and
clothe them are beautiful regardless of what the look like. They are
beautiful because they are giving from their hearts.

Rubin Rodriguez a friend and fellow coach said, "People are hired for
their skills and promoted for their qualities." I think his statement
speaks to a very important element about the way we project ourselves
into the world, our visibility, and the way in which the world
responds to what we project.

What qualities are you communicating to the world? Do you know what
you are saying to the world when you are not speaking? The centering
practice brings awareness and visibility to the qualities you wish to
cultivate and tolerance and acceptance to the qualities we find less
pleasing.

It is incredible how easy it is to forget to center. Forgetfulness
descends on me like the California fog surrounding me with a mist of
things to do and plans to make. I ask myself, "Is that what you want
to be visible for -- doing things and making plans? Or do you want to
have a loving heart, a strong center and an open mind?"

Let's commit to waking up -- to centering 10 times a day for 10
seconds. It is possible!

** Exciting news -- the new edition of The Intuitive Body is
available. **

This third edition has a new cover, a new subtitle -- Discovering the
Wisdom of Conscious Embodiment and Aikido -- and 2 new chapters,
Advocating Without Aggression and Balancing Mastery and Mystery. There
is a forward by James Flaherty the founder of New Ventures West and
author of Coaching: Evoking Excellence in Others. You can order it
from Amazon or even better from your local bookstore.

The new chapters are distilled from the yearlong exploration of themes
for Conscious Embodiment Level 2. Two years ago the theme was
Advocating Without Aggression and last year we explored The Balance of
Mastery and Mystery. Perhaps this year's theme, Visibility may be the
beginning of a new book.

I appreciate your support in letting people know about this new
edition. As always the goal is to be helpful in encouraging people to
wake up and practice the ideas and insights that everyone knows and
yet few put into action.
